Synopsis:

It's in the Garage is a documentary film about automobile enthusiasts and their unfinished car projects. The film explores the reasons behind their attachment to these projects, and the owners' perseverance and optimism in seeing their cars restored after sitting in disrepair for years or even decades.

About the project:

I am researching a documentary film about automobile enthusiasts who have an unfinished car or motorcycle project sitting around the garage. Many start out on a project that eats up more time and money than expected. Life changes, such as the birth of children, marriage, divorce, or career pursuits, can suddenly turn a one-year car project into a decade-long endeavor. One often sets aside a project like this to prioritize family and work, yet parting with the unfinished car can be very difficult.

Just to be clear, this is not a film or television show wherein someone restores your car at no expense to you.

If you are interested in sharing your story, please send me an email with a few details about your car and yourself. I want to hear your story.
